The Neosho National Fish Hatchery Visitor Center, which opened its doors to the public in December 2010, achieved Gold status according to the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED rating system. Elderly and Handicapped Fishing Derby
Friday, June 12
9am to 12pm
Senior citizens ages 65 and older are invited to attend.
All bait, fishing equipment, and lunch will be provided.


Kid's Fishing Clinic and Derby
Friday, June 5th
9am to 3:30pm
Ages 8-12
A guardian must be present at registration for each child(ren).
All bait, fishing equipment, and lunch will be provided. Safety glasses will be provided and must be worn while fishing.
Bring sun protection and come prepared for a good time!!


Open House
Sunday, April 19th
8am to 3pm


Thanks to all those that attended our Open House! Despite the rainy weather, we had a fantastic turn out! Missouri Department of Conservation succeeded in giving away hundreds of dogwood, redbud, and pine trees. Special thanks to Missouri Department of Conservation, our Friends of the Neosho National Fish Hatchery Group, the Master Gardners Club, the Monett Bee Club, the Rock Specialist, Tim's educational snake booth, and the many others that volunteered their time and talents!
