The Neosho National Fish Hatchery Visitor Center, which opened its doors to the public in December 2010, achieved Gold status according to the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED rating system. Our contractor Crossland Construction is making great headway on our long-awaited visitor center! 

August 6th: Clearing away residual clay from previous pond usage.
November 6th: Pouring the foundation
November 19th: Framing begins!


                         December 10th: Framing of 2nd story started!
December 23rd: Roof construction
January 5th: View of hatchery from the 2nd floor of Visitor's Center
February 17th
March 2nd: Lifting the domes onto the Visitor Center building



March 26: Siding mostly in place


April 28th, 2010: Exterior and interior paint almost complete, solar panels installed, almost all the metal roofing is done
